Classic Cars, Barbeque, and a Day of Fun Coming to Brick, NJ
I'll be the first to admit that I know nothing about cars.
The depth of my knowledge is as follows:
- Driving a Stick
- Changing my headlight bulbs
- Checking the dipstick
But, just because you don't know much about cars doesn't mean you can't appreciate looking at classic cars!
When I first moved to Ocean County, I stumbled upon a really cool classic car show in downtown Toms River that occurs the second Wednesday of each month June through September.
There were a ton of classic cars not only showcased but that were also for sale, so if you're a collector maybe think about swinging by!
To me, classic car shows just scream summer.
If I can go to a car show that also supports a good cause, well that's just icing on the cake.
Mark your calendar for August 20th, because there's a great event making its way to Ocean County.
The 8th Annual Brick PAL Car Show and BBQ
Rev your engines, and bring an appetite because this is going to be a fun day!
If you have a classic car that you're looking to register for shows, this is a great way to get started; it's $15 in advance and $20 day of to register your vehicle, according to Patch.com
Vehicles have to be at least 25 years old, and you can register by emailing an application to I and E insurance at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 732-295-5584 and asking for Ernest
Be quick though, registration is only open until August 10th and is limited to 120 vehicles.
If you plan on attending, you're in for a treat.
In addition to the classic cars, there will be raffles, BBQ (which is the best type of food), and a bunch more great stuff!
The event runs from 10 am to 2 pm on August 20th, and all proceeds go to benefit the Brick PAL.
