Dylan Scott’s Son, Beckett, Adorably Sings ‘Jesus Loves the Little Children’ [Watch]
Music runs in Dylan Scott's family. The country singer's son, Beckett, seems to be taking an interest in what Dad does for a living, and recently took the spotlight on Instagram.
Just in time for Easter, the "New Truck" singer posted a video with his 4-year-old, performing the Sunday school song, "Jesus Loves the Little Children." Both are holding guitars, but it's Beckett who takes the lead with his sweet little voice.
He nearly misses the line "... red, yellow, black and white," but recovers and finishes strong, holding the last note on "world" for a few seconds.
"I'm officially just the guitarist and I’m cool with that!" Scott writes in the caption.
It's not the first time Beckett's musical talents have been showcased on Scott's social media — he jumped on stage at one of his father's shows in March. Transforming into a true rock star, he strummed away on his pint-sized guitar while Scott belted out his song, "Nothing to Do Town." Sister Finley also made an appearance that night, with dad holding her high above the crowd.
Scott is currently on the road with his Livin' My Best Life Tour, which wraps on April 29. His new album of the same name will arrive on Aug. 5. The title — Livin' My Best Life — is indicative of how things have been going for the country singer.
“That’s the name of the album because basically, I have been living my best life, let’s be honest with you,” he shares with fans. “I got two healthy kids, Beckett, who’s playing guitar right here with me, and Finley who’s asleep right now, my wife, and just you guys supporting my career. I really am living the dream, so it just seemed right for it to be Livin’ My Best Life as the title track to this new album coming out.”
