I love Seeing this, Der Wunder Weiner in their New Location in Bayville, NJ
We found out some answers about Der Wunder Weiner coming to Bayville.
I wrote an article several months ago about Wunder Weiner will be back and better than ever just down the road a little bit on Rt. 9 in Bayville. We want Der Wunder Weiner back. More and more work is being done so it looks like we're getting closer and closer.
Wunder Weiner, which was once in the former Beachwood Mall Plaza in Berkeley Township, will be moved down a little bit South on Rt 9 in the vacant lot between Black Beard's Cave and Fuller's Marina. The owner Jerry LaCrosse was hurt badly when a car drove into the food truck. After this horrible accident, the community came together to help raise money for the LaCrosse family and Mr. LaCrosse always said Der Wunder Weiner will be built again. The new building for Der Wunder Weiner is in the new lot in Bayville, we're getting closer and closer.
We received good news and good information from Joel Balazinski, Jr. Thanks to Joel, owner of JB Custom Contracting, who is the general contractor of the new Der Wunder Weiner. The address of where Der Wunder Weiner will eventually be is 108 Atlantic City Blvd. (Rt. 9) in Bavyille.
This is such great news. I can't thank Joel Balazinski, Sr. enough for all of the correct information so we never have to guess. We will always stand behind Der Wunder Weiner, and I know everyone is excited about the re-opening location and the delicious hot dogs. We still don't have an opening date, but it's definitely getting closer and closer to that big opening date.
From Joel Balazinki, Sr.:
While we're locked into taking things one step at a time, we're still moving steadily forward. We're waiting to get the utilities completed so that I can fill in that trench, (which is in the direct path of the tow vehicle when putting the trailer into its permanent spot).Once in place, we'll have the utilities hooked directly to the trailer and we'll begin finalizing the "Der Wunder Weiner" stand, and also the aesthetics surrounding it, (landscaping, asphalt...etc.).While on the subject I'd like to personally thank the contractors and their hardworking secretaries that are selflessly assisting me in this endeavor.Alex, from Firefly Electric in Forked River,Frank and Ed, from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and Heating in Beachwood, and my brother-in-law Robert Martinez, owner of Quantum Leap Transportation LLC, in Bayville.... safely towed the structure to its home at 108 Atlantic City Blvd. Bayville, on October 31st, 2022.I'd also like to thank Mayor Carmen Amato and his staff for their continued support. This entire project thus far has been an inspirational and emotionally rewarding experience in seeing and hearing the public's kindness and heartwarming wishes of success for Jerry LaCrosse, Proprietor of the Der Wunder Weiner business.
